Script剧本
Ages ago, there was this tiny fish that heard some rumor:
if it could munch on a kid one day, it could level up and become the godhood.
So, this fish got super serious about eating, sleeping and growing big enough to swallow a kid whole.
But here’s the thing about this fish – it was a polite one.It wanted the kid to volunteer for this whole being-eaten thing.
So, it went up to these kids rowing boats down the river and asked
“Mind if I gobble you up?”
The boat kids obviously said no way.
But since the fish was so polite, they agreed to help.
They paddled over to the shore and asked the land kids
The big fish swam to the shore, and the children on the boat got off.
“You cool with becoming fish food?”
“Nah, but I’ll check with the tree kids for you.””In consideration of your politeness…”
The fish hesitated, “But how do I cross?”
“We’ll carry you,” they offered.
The fish, along with the boat kids and the land kids, crossed a bridge. Yep, even the bridge kids tagged along.
They all got to the tree and asked those kids. “Wanna be a fish’s snack?”
The tree kids passed, saying “But we could go ask the mountain kids; they might be into it.”
“In consideration of your politeness… we can carry you together!”
But guess what? While they were lugging the fish up to the mountains
it just… well,
it died

Consepliazation
My personal study focuses on the representation of surrealism folk tales, with toys and dolls under new materialism. I believe that matter can be self-generated and has its own narrative
All my work is in a Proregress action, starting from antique objects.
This is how i met this piece of embroidery. The first time I saw it,An orginal tale generated in my mind directly,The play are abstract from dimension of time and space. As a accidental animator and a pritical gmer,I want to help it speak out loud,I don‘t know how old it is,but I know that’s how our journey starts:

Asking for a title 讨封
Where did the fish hear that eating a child would help it achieve the godhood?
Why does it want to become the legend ?
What exactly is immortality?

In the story of the fish, everything follows the natural laws of reality: a polite fish and a group of polite children,
the fish wants to eat people, the people refuse to let it, they carry the fish up the mountain, the fish dies after leaving the water, and the fish aspires to become immortal. In many legends, there are similar story backgrounds, such as the story of Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen under the Leifeng Pagoda, where the snake has to learn human ways to achieve immortality. We call this practice of adopting human behavior “asking for a title.”
But what’s strange is that when I ask the people around me what they want to be in their next life, their answers are always animals: a fish, a bird, or even a piece of wood.

During the process of creating the fish, I constantly felt that the fish was not content with becoming a puppet. It tried to become a ceramic fish, but each time it resulted in a broken body and failed glaze. Perhaps being a puppet constrained by gravity was not its ultimate desire. So I thought, why couldn’t it be a puppet in the sky?
This led me back to Shandong in northern China, where I found a master in the mountains and learned how to make kites.
However, July in China is windless, so I brought the kite back to Estonia to stir up some wind.
I moved from Shanghai to Tallinn to study and create, partly because living in Estonia during the harsh frozen winter allows me to become like a monk, enjoying the darkness and getting down to work.
(Ask for a title)
