The project advocates the spiritual core of “innovation and the unknown”,  led by animation director YiyangSun to enter the screen world of animation, open the mysterious box behind the creation and expect to cultivate observation and discovery ability in the children’s animation world.

This workshop focused on the creation of individual projects and collective projects around the two major sections of series of animation toy  (Praxinoscope, Thaumatrope ) and flip books , leading children to disassemble multi-dimensional animation together, and use multi-dimensional thinking to feel multi-dimensional experience.

In the context of modern art, artistic concepts have changed, independent animation artists have started from painting or traditional work, but their creations often transcend the form and dimension of painting. At this time, the “painting” in animation is not limited to the form of painting, and the open art world evokes the animation artists’ cognition and thinking about different materials, and they begin to explore a richer shaping process and perception. The animation author, as the “Creator”, re-gives these materials a new vitality, and the concrete manifestation of this vitality is to let them “move” in a new way, thus becoming an animation.
